chaplinATLANTA – State Sen. Mitch Seabaugh (R-Sharpsburg) recently hosted Chaplain of the Day Pastor Jimmy Patterson of the First Baptist Church of Newnan, at the Capitol.  

Jimmy graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served as senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Newnan since October 2006.  The church has grown in membership, finances and influence.
